Overview:

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at a leading Public Policy Think Tank located in the heart of Athens. As a Junior Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in discovering, analyzing, and interpreting data to inform evidence-based policy recommendations.

Responsibilities:

• Search, acquire and merge data from various sources, conduct thorough analyses, and generate regular and ad-hoc reports.
• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data manipulation and analysis.
• Communicate findings effectively through verbal and written reports in both English and Greek.
• Follow guidance from staff to comprehend data sources and understand the logic behind the numbers. 

 

Cognitive Requirements:

• Proficiency in data discovery methodologies.
• Familiarity with international reports (WEF, IMD, OECD, Eurostat, etc.)

• Strong ability to collaborate with the team to understand data intricacies.

• Academic experience in acquiring, combining, and analyzing data.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Greek.

Soft Skills:

• Ability to follow instructions accurately and within tight deadlines to produce quality work.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Capability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Resilience, flexibility, and adaptability to internal and external demands.
